Created in 1997 to meet the ever-increasing need for quality construction services in the Las Vegas area, Dakem & Associates quickly became known as one of the city's premier general contractors.

Founders Danny Amster and Kem Fredrick were as different in personality as they were unified in vision: to manage each and every project with speed, skill and precision. Together they brought a sense of integrity and creativity to every phase of construction, and established an unparalleled level of trust with their clients.

Daniel S. Amster
Born and raised in New Jersey, Danny received his degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland, and began a career in construction that lead him across the country, with successful projects in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and finally Las Vegas. Danny has called Las Vegas home since 1994, and is a true veteran in every facet of the construction industry.


JAK "Kem" Fredrick
Kem has left his mark on many projects in the Las Vegas hotel and casino industry. In 1994, he left hotel and casino construction to pursue his dream and co-found Dakem & Associates. He has been involved in everything from the construction of Mega-resorts to the smallest of projects throughout the valley. Kem's experience, passion and work ethic are greatly valued by his clients and colleagues.
